Diveri is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all users. This Community Safety and Anti-Exploitation (CSAE) Policy outlines our standards for user behavior and our approach to preventing exploitation, harassment, and abuse on our platform.
2. Zero Tolerance Policy
We have zero tolerance for:
- Child exploitation or abuse material
- Human trafficking or exploitation
- Sexual harassment or assault
- Revenge porn or non-consensual intimate images
- Grooming or predatory behavior
- Hate speech or discrimination
- Threats of violence or harm
3. Protecting Vulnerable Users
3.1 Age Verification
All users must be 18 years or older. We employ verification measures to prevent minors from accessing our platform.
3.2 Vulnerable Communities
We provide additional protections for users who may be particularly vulnerable to exploitation, including:
- Neurodivergent individuals
- LGBTQ+ community members
- Users with disabilities
- Individuals from marginalized communities
4. Prohibited Behaviors
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited on Diveri:
- Exploitation: Any attempt to exploit users financially, emotionally, or sexually
- Harassment: Persistent unwanted contact, stalking, or intimidation
- Impersonation: Pretending to be someone else to deceive users
- Manipulation: Using deceptive practices to gain trust for harmful purposes
- Solicitation: Requesting or offering sexual services for payment
- Grooming: Building relationships to exploit or abuse
5. Safety Features
We implement various safety features to protect our users:
- Blocking and Reporting: Easy-to-use tools to block and report problematic users
- Content Moderation: AI and human review of content for policy violations
- Identity Verification: Optional verification to build trust
- Private Circles: Moderated community spaces with admin oversight
- Message Filtering: Automatic detection of potentially harmful content
6. Reporting and Response
6.1 How to Report
Users can report violations through:
- In-app reporting buttons on profiles and content
- Direct message to our safety team
- Email to safety@diveri.app
- Emergency hotline for urgent safety concerns
6.2 Our Response Process
- Immediate review of urgent safety reports (within 2 hours)
- Investigation of the reported content or behavior
- Appropriate action based on severity (warning, suspension, or ban)
- Follow-up with the reporter (when appropriate)
- Cooperation with law enforcement when necessary
7. Education and Prevention
We actively work to prevent exploitation through:
- Safety tips and resources in the app
- Regular safety reminders and updates
- Partnerships with safety organizations
- Community education about recognizing warning signs
- Proactive detection of concerning patterns
8. Consequences for Violations
Depending on the severity and nature of the violation:
- Warning: For minor first-time violations
- Temporary Suspension: For serious violations or repeated minor violations
- Permanent Ban: For severe violations or exploitation attempts
- Legal Action: Reporting to law enforcement when required by law
9. Cooperation with Authorities
We cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies and child safety organizations. We report suspected child exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and comply with all legal requirements for reporting criminal activity.
10. Appeals Process
Users who believe they have been wrongly sanctioned may appeal through our appeals process. Appeals are reviewed by a separate team to ensure fairness. Note that appeals are not available for child safety violations or severe exploitation cases.
11. Continuous Improvement
We regularly review and update our safety policies based on emerging threats, user feedback, and industry best practices. We are committed to staying ahead of those who would exploit our platform for harmful purposes.
